Toddler Time

At Oconee Station State Historic Site

Designed for children ages 3–6 (including K5–1st grade), these interactive programs introduce young explorers to the history, nature, and culture of Oconee Station through hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities. Programs typically last about one hour and may include storytelling, music, creative play, and outdoor exploration. Please bring water, a snack if needed, and dress for messy, active fun! Sample themes include: Tiny Trackers – Discover animal tracks and clues in the park. Busy Bees & Fluttering Friends – Explore pollinators and how they help nature grow. Drums & Dances – Experience the music and movement of the past. Little Rangers – Learn about the forest and its fascinating plants and creatures. Little Pioneers – Try out the simple tools and technology of early daily life.
