Join us for a ranger led hike at Rose Hill Plantation State Historic Site. The grounds of Rose Hill are filled with many useful plants and trees. Many of these species have been here for over 100 years. As we walk the grounds and our ½ mile loop trail, we will explore how individuals who once lived at Rose hill utilized the natural resources around them. We will delve into the various uses of different plants and plant materials, understanding how they could have been utilized for food, medicine, and other purposes by people of the past.
