Travel to three of our South Carolina State Parks to learn about and hopefully observe three to four different species of sea turtles in the wild! Spot a leatherback or Kemp’s ridley from the fishing pier at Myrtle Beach, see a nesting loggerhead at Edisto Beach, walk to the jetty at Huntington Beach to observe immature greens, and attend a sea turtle nest inventory at any of these three coastal parks. The limit for this program is 20 people. Ages 15 and up. See the program flyer for full program description, parks, dates, times, and meeting locations.
Online registration opens on December 13, 2024 and is required by March 31, 2024. If capacity is reached (20 participants), registration will close earlier.
