Hike Into The Boonies

At Lee State Park

BOOK NOW

How many artesian wells are there at Lee State Park? Hah, that's easy. Four! Nope. The Civilian Conservation Corps drilled at least eight when they were here from 1935 to 1941. Only 5 still flow. That 5th one is out in the boonies. There is no trail to it. It's not on any map. Want to see it? Take a drink from it? Then join a park ranger for a walk in the woods to find that 5th flowing well.
