DOG TENT!
At Battle of Rivers Bridge State Historic Site
Civil War soldiers used to say that their "tents were not fit for a dog," so their tents became known as dog tents, which is how we got the term pup tent for any small tent today. This isn't a camping program for dogs (although they are welcome to attend!). Meet at the Park Office where we will be using tarps to learn the different ways to set up a Civil War tent. Dog Tent! Runs from 45 – 60min and is suitable for all ages.
