World Migratory Bird Day 2026
At Andrew Jackson State Park
Come out and join us to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day! Learn more about migratory birds who visit our park during their travels. This year's theme is “Every Bird Counts – Your Observations Matter.” Become a Citizen Scientist to help birds. Learn about bird counting opportunities. Visit websites and try apps that will help you collect data to share with researchers who need your help. Plus, you can make a simple bird feeder to take home Meet in the yard of the Little School house on Saturday, May 9 at 10 a.m. This program is designed for children 12 and under, but people of all ages are invited. The program is free with park admission.
