In honor of Black History Month, special tours on this day take an in-depth look at the lives of African and African American residents at Hampton, from colonial slavery through the Civil War, Reconstruction, and the first half of the 20th century. Tours run at 12pm and 2pm, including a short walk between the former slave quarters, the rice fields, and the mansion house
