Experience a unique ranger-led tour of the historic Beech Island Cemetery where SC Governor James Henry Hammond and many of his descendants are buried. Explore the lives, deaths and burials of notable Beech Island residents as well as the meaning of various gravestone designs and symbols. Directions will be emailed to registrants. The cemetery is not open to the public outside of tours and programs. Be sure to dress for the weather, bring some water, bug spray, and wear a pair of close-toed shoes! Recommended ages 13+. $15 per person, register online through October 22nd.
