Experience a ranger-led tour of the historic Beech Island Cemetery where James Henry Hammond and many of his descendants are buried. This tour will explore stories of people buried in the cemetery, the meaning of various gravestone symbols, and death practices of the 19th century. Online Registration Required. Directions to cemetery will be provided to registrants. The cemetery is not open to the public outside of tours and programs. $15/Person. Recommended for ages 13+. Bring water! Wear bug spray and dress for the weather.
