Meet at the park office at 10am to take part in this Volunteer Event

Once everyone has arrived and had a chance to sign in at the park office, we'll drive to the battlefield for quick ranger guided tour of the original earthworks. Afterwards, we'll start staining the Battlefield parking lot fence around 11:30am. At 1:00pm we will break for lunch which is provided for free and consists of fire roasted hotdogs, chips, and bottled water. After lunch we will either call it a day or carry on depending on the enthusiasm and progress of our intrepid volunteers... and/or substitutes if you choose to hire one to take your place on the battlefield.

Bring water and clothing (including shoes) that can dirty. In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be moved to Saturday, May 9th. Meet at the Park office at 10am. Although lunch is provided, you may wish to bring your own.
