Many people love to come and enjoy the beauty of the beach. Unfortunately, more people often means more pollution than we can reach. Become a part of the solution and join volunteers around the county, state, and nation in restoring the natural scene as we band together to "sweep" our beaches clean. In addition to picking up trash, volunteers will be required to tally their trash on data cards to help gain valuable information that is used to learn the major sources of debris and aid in creating solutions. Appropriate for all ages. Free park admission if you arrive before 9:15am.
No registration required. Weather Policy: Our programs will go on rain or shine, but we reserve the right to cancel scheduled programs for inclement weather which may include lightning, thunder, or other severe weather conditions that the staff deem potentially dangerous or unconducive to activities.
