Jetty Adventure

At Huntington Beach State Park

Take a 2.5 mile guided walk along the beach to the jetty, a unique rocky habitat that provides shelter and food for a variety of plants and animals that cannot be found on a sandy beach. Along the way we’ll encounter animals along the beach, on the boulders, and in tide pools. Possibilities include sea anemones, sea stars, mussels, whelks, crabs, sponges, and more! We may even have the chance to see dolphins and mink. Due to shorebird management efforts, no pets are allowed on this program or in this area of the park.
