DO YOU OFFER TOURS?

Guided and self-guided tours are available by appointment only. Please contact us by phone at 843-237-4440 or by email at huntingtonbeach@scprt.com.

DO WE HAVE TO USE CERTAIN VENDORS AND IS A PLANNER REQUIRED?

You have the option to choose your vendors when booking an event at Atalaya. All we require is a licensed event planner for your event and that catering and bar service both be licensed and insured.

CAN WE HANG THINGS FROM THE TREES?

Tents, lights, and décor must be rigged using items that will not cause damage.

WHAT KINDS OF SEND-OFFS ARE ALLOWED?

We allow a variety of send-offs on-site, however, they must be environmentally friendly and preapproved by our venue manager. Prohibited items include fireworks, sparklers, wishing lanterns, confetti/seeds, and helium balloons.

WHEN CAN MY WEDDING BEGIN/END?

By contract, your event duration is 5 hours.

Standard Time: Event start time is 4 p.m. Depart the park entrance by 9 p.m.

Daylight Savings Time: Event start time is 5 p.m. Depart the park entrance by 10 p.m.

This 5-hour span does not include your setup or breakdown. Setup may begin at 9:00 a.m. and breakdown must be completed the following morning between 6:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

One hour may be added to the end of the event for $500.

WHAT’S INCLUDED IN MY RENTAL?

Your rental includes: two courtyards, bear pen yard, oyster shucking yard, indoor & outdoor studios, stables, entry courtyard and restrooms. Also included are forty 6’ wooden benches.

CAN I TENTATIVELY HOLD A DATE?

You can request a date hold and we will hold that date for 14 days. Your date is not finalized until we have the signed agreement and full payment.

WHEN CAN I HAVE MY REHEARSAL?

Rehearsals are held between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (extended to 5 p.m. during Daylight Savings Time) for a 1-hour period. Please note: If there is another event occurring the day of your rehearsal, your rehearsal will need to be scheduled between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

DO YOU HAVE STAFF ON-SITE FOR MY EVENT AND DOES YOUR STAFF HELP WITH SETUP/BREAKDOWN?

We will have staff on-site during your entire event. Park staff will not help with the setup and breakdown. Per contract, the renter is responsible for the setup and breakdown of the event, including cleaning of trash.

IS THERE AMPLE PARKING/IS IT FREE?

All parking and admission are included with your rental.

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR OVERNIGHT?

We do not encourage leaving cars at the park overnight, but if you need to leave a car overnight, it must be parked in the main parking lot. It can then be picked up the next day during park operating hours.

ARE LIVE BANDS ALLOWED AT MY EVENT?

We allow bands, DJs and other types of musical entertainment at the venue. All music must end one hour prior to the end of the rental timeframe.

WHAT IS THE VENUE CAPACITY?

The venue's maximum capacity is 300. Additional fees apply to events with guest counts above 200.

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE THE DATE?

A reservation is not valid until the full payment has been received, the rental agreement has been completed, returned to the park, accepted, and confirmed.
