Head to the recreation area across from the nature center and explore the world of box turtles and the importance of native plants to wildlife. These short walking storyboards, written by Myrtle Beach State Park Rangers, are fun self-led outdoor learning adventures. If you show proof (photo, fun fact you learned, etc) that you enjoyed the experience of these unique park stories, you will get a free sticker (while supplies last) inside the nature center.
The story is outside, so you can read it anytime. If you want to receive a sticker, you must visit the nature center Tuesday- Saturday 11:30am to 4:30pm.
