Twilight Crab

At Myrtle Beach State Park

Test your luck from the fishing pier as we try to catch a variety of crabs, fish and many other critters. This is a catch and release program in order to help conserve our resources for the future. Towards the end of the program we will enjoy watching both the sunset and the moonrise! Program is $7 per person and includes a rental crab trap and bait. Program will last one hour and 15 minutes. Appropriate for ages 5 to 105.

    Meeting Place

    Fishing Pier- walk out on the pier until you see the large photo op chair.

    What to Bring

    Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring hand sanitizer. Participants may wear masks, but are not required to, and participation is voluntary under these conditions. Show staff your receipt (either paper or digital).


    In addition to park admission, participants pay $7 per person- includes crab trap rental and bait.
