Join historian, naturalist and storyteller Scott Withrow as he tells about the female water spider that brought the first fire to the Cherokee, bear lore, and native trickster tales. A presentation in the Park Center classroom will be followed by a walk around the lake, looking for plants and animals that were important to the Cherokee people. Meet at Park Center for this family friendly (ages 6 & up) program. This 2 hour program is free after park admission, and no registration is necessary.
