Sea Turtle Obstacle Course!

At Myrtle Beach State Park

A hatchling starting out life in Myrtle, wanting to grow into a giant sea turtle. Can you survive our obstacle course of boat propellers, fishing line, and trash? Embark on this sandy adventure, but one false move and your turtle life could end in a flash! This course is great for all ages- even adults can learn ways they can help sea turtles. Come anytime during the scheduled time. Appropriate for ages 5 to 105.

    No registration necessary unless you have more than 10 people. The program can not accommodate groups over 30 people.

    What to Bring

    Wear clothes appropriate for being on the beach. You will get sandy on the obstacle course! Wear sunscreen.

    Meeting Place

    Meet at the showers/benches at the campground beach access. This is a short walk from the parking lot near the Camper Check-in. If you arrive late, we will be on the beach north (left) of the beach access.
