Welcome to the basics of indigo as a dye and a craft! After a historical discussion of indigo dye, instructors Doni Jordan and Susan Livingston will discuss and show how to dye goods in an indigo vat, and then help you create four unique cloth napkins using shibori resist and indigo dye! All the materials for the program will be provided, so all you need to bring are clothes that you don’t mind if they get stained. The price of the program is only $125/participant. This does not include overnight accommodates, but you can reserve a park villa and use the promotional code INDIGO19 to save 15% during the program dates.
