Beach Yoga

At Myrtle Beach State Park


Wiggle your toes in the sand, breathe in the ocean air, and connect to the relaxing surf as you mindfully move, bend, and stretch. This is an all-level gentle flow class designed to clear your mind, open your body, and help you relax while connecting to the outdoors. The class is taught by a certified yoga instructor, and all levels of physical ability are welcome. The program is weather dependent so the class will be canceled if it's raining or extremely windy. No preregistration required. COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: Attendees must bring their own mat, towel, and water. There will be marked mat placements, socially distanced, already set up on the beach for you. Face coverings must be worn correctly at check in, walking to your mat, and when leaving the session. Face coverings can be removed once you reach your mat. There will be no physical adjustments or contact from the yoga instructor. If you a cough, fever, or other symptoms of COVID-19, or have any concerns about coming to a session, please do not come to class.

    Meeting Place

    Beach at boardwalk N4- The boardwalk is by Shelter B3 (the shelter north of the fishing pier in the grassy area)

    What to Bring

    Yoga mat, towel, and water. Program is weather dependent- class will be canceled if it's raining or extremely windy. Attendees MUST correctly wear face coverings at check in, walking to your mat area, and when leaving the session. Face coverings may be removed once you reach your mat area.
