Pine Needle Basket Crafting with Linda Harrell

At Devils Fork State Park

Join award winning basket maker Linda Harrell to learn how to create a beautiful, and useful, basket out of pine needles. Whether you want to learn a new hobby to pass the time or a craft to create your own decorative art, this experience will give you the skills you need. The two-day workshop includes approximately 16 hours of hands-on instruction and guidance as you work on your own pine needle project. Located along the shores of Lake Jocassee, Devils Fork State Park offers a wonderful scenic getaway for this workshop. After the workshop, you will take home your own hand-made basket art, but more importantly, you will take home the know-how to do it again and again.
