Paddle with a Ranger

At Edisto Beach State Park

The saltmarshes and waterways around Edisto Beach State Park are full of life, and a great way to see it is from a kayak. From shorebirds and wading birds to dolphins and sea turtles, who knows what we will encounter. We will paddle around the ebb of a low tide, but strong currents exist around Big Bay Creek, so paddling experience is required for this program. Participants must be at least 13 years old and physically capable of paddling against a strong current. This trip is not for new or weak paddlers.
