Pine and Simple Baskets with Linda Harrell
At Santee State Park
Join award winning basket maker Linda Harrell to learn how to create a beautiful, and useful, basket out of pine needles. Whether you want to learn a new hobby to pass the time or a craft to create your own decorative art, this experience will give you the skills you need. The two-day workshop includes approximately 16 hours of hands-on instruction and guidance as you work on your own pine needle project. Set among the tall pines of Santee State Park, your class and cabin experience will be surrounded by the sweet smell of pine. After the workshop, you will take home your own hand-made basket art, but more importantly, you will take home the know-how to do it again and again.
