Watercolor on Almost Anything with Deborah King Scherer
At Santee State Park
Make the World your canvas by learning the basics of preparing and finishing almost anything to paint with watercolors. Join Deborah King Scherer as she brings creativity to things you were about to throw away. You will prepare and paint 1 project while learning how to prepare multiple surfaces for watercolor paint. Old saw blades, broken paddles, rusty metal, and more can become beautiful and decorative, and she’ll teach you how. Bring an interesting surface, no larger than 10”, with you and learn how to prepare it for watercoloring. Program cost is $225 for 3 days of hands-on instruction. Make your cabin reservation at the time you book your program at a special rate. Park cabins sleep up to 3 people, so bring family or friends. Email Deborah King Scherer firstname.lastname@example.org for a supply list.
