Saltwater Kayak Fishing Expedition
At Givhans Ferry State Park
It's spring, the saltwater creeks are warming up, and so is the fishing. There is no way to feel closer to the experience than in a kayak. Kayaking in the saltwater creeks can be peaceful and exciting. See shorebirds feeding along the shores one minute and dolphins swimming at you the next. Combine that with the possibility of tying into a favored gamefish and this program lends itself to being an unforgettable experience. Participants are responsible for having or obtaining a valid 2018 South Carolina saltwater fishing license and must have it on their person for the fishing expedition. The program price includes a two-nights stay in the park's cabins, use of rod/reel and tackle, transportation from park to boat-launch and back, kayaks and guided experience. Check-in will beTuesday after 4pm, the program will be Wednesday, and check-out by 10am Thursday. Stay extra nights for discounted price of $49/night based on availability. This program is limited to a maximum of 6 participants. Cost: $225/participant single occupancy, $125/participant double occupancy or more, and $75/day of only. Must call the park for reservations.
