Friends Fourth Saturday Program: Owl Pellet Dissection

At Paris Mountain State Park

Join Science teacher Kurt Blocher in an exploration of the secret lives of South Carolina's nocturnal predators, the owls. Test your detective skills by opening up a barn owl pellet. These coughed-up bundles of undigested fur and bones will provide enough clues to reveal what barn owls eat, and their role in the food chain. Meet at Park Center. No registration is required and there is no cost for this 2 hour program beyond park admission.
