Bike with a Park Ranger
At Lee State Park
Come to Lee State Park and enjoy a bike ride with a Park Ranger. We will ride 5 miles on the park’s Loop Road - a dirt and gravel road built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. As we bike, we’ll wind our way through the Sandhills and the Lynches River wetlands, habitats used by many of the park’s resident wildlife. We will stop at two artesian wells to rest and allow participants the opportunity to drink from a natural flowing well. Participants must be 8 or older and be able to bike 5 miles. Adults must accompany children under 18.
1 day prior to ride. Call (803) 428-4988 to register.
Meet at the Environmental Education Center.
