Enjoy a special presentation given by Chef Kevin Mitchell of the Culinary Institute of Charleston. Chef Mitchell earned his Master’s at the University of Mississippi in Southern Studies, focusing on Southern Foodways and the historical tradition of African-Americans in the culinary arts. Chef Mitchell will be presenting, “From Black Hands to White Mouths,” his research on the lives of the free and enslaved African-American cooks of Charleston. $10.00/Adults, $8.00/SC Seniors, $3/Ages 6-16 & Students with ID Advanced registration required.
