Biking Trail

Length: 6 miles
Type: Mountain Biking Trail
Description: To access this well groomed, mostly level, dirt and pine needle covered, beginners mountain biking trail, go behind the post and rail fence at the kiosk. Follow the orange markers as you wind and zigzag on single track through hardwood and pine forest. You will see beautiful lake vistas, especially in winter, as well as deer, squirrels, chipmunks, snakes, chickadees, and a variety of other birds and wildlife. When you exit the woods at a playing field, turn right, stop at the sign, and cross the road before continuing on the more hilly sections. Watch for occasional low branches, downed trees, and unexpected roots and bumps.

Pine Grove Trail

Length: 0.6 mile loop
Difficulty: Easy
Description: At the kiosk near the pavilion, begin this short, easy walking, foot traffic only, dirt trail. After a short walk, you will come to a fork. Stay to the left and you will cross a paved park road and circle down hill to the lake. As you pass near the lake, you may see an assortment of birds, deer, snakes and other wildlife. You will cross the paved road again and then pass through a hardwood and pine forest where you will return to the start.
