No, but there are two state parks, Poinsett and Cheraw, near us that do offer vacation cabins for rent.

All of our sites, 1-47, are suitable for tents because they have dirt pads

Is a Coggins test required for my horse?

A Coggins test is required on the park. Please bring your papers with you to the park. For further information (crossing state lines) please visit the South Carolina Equine Import Requirements. You may also read the South Carolina Animal Health Laws and Regulations.

No, there are indoor rental facilities at Cheraw State Park and Goodale State Park.

What kind of fish do people fish for in the Lynches River?

Bream and Catfish

You can launch a canoe or kayak into the river but any boat on a trailer cannot be launched.  The closest boat paved launch to Lee is located on the Lynches River at the US-15 bridge near Bishopville.

Can I bring my golf cart to Lee?

The golf cart does need insurance and you have to get a golf cart permit from the SCDMV.  Golf carts can be driven on the park roads but not park trails due to the uneven terrain.

Would I be allowed to bring my horse for the day and go riding?

Yes, you can drive down to the park’s show ring and park.  Access to the horse trails is located behind the stalls and you can also ride on the park’s Loop Road.

Where is the park’s Ultimate Outsider stamp located?

Our Ultimate Outsider stamp is located at the orientation kiosk in the day use parking lot grass island. We also have a stamp located in the exhibit room and gift shop.
