Things To Do
: A half-mile trail provides access to Lake Keowee where guests enjoy fishing for bass, bream, crappie and catfish. A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.
Boating and Boat Access
: Motorized boat access to Lake Keowee is five miles from the park.
The park's canoe/kayak access area provides private, non-motorized boat access to Lake Keowee.
OTHER AMENITIES AND ACTIVITIES
Wireless Internet Access
: Wi-Fi is available for Keowee-Toxaway’s guests at the park visitor center and the park’s rental cabin.
Park Store/Gift Shop
: The gift shop located in the Jocassee Gorges Visitor Center is open daily from 11am-noon and 4-5pm. It includes limited snacks, souvenirs, ice and firewood.
: Swimming is permitted in Lake Keowee. There is no designated swimming area at the park and lifeguards are not provided. You may swim at your own risk.
: The park is an ideal birding area. Over 75 species of songbirds have been reported on the park.
: Geocaching is permitted. Several geocaches are located on the park. For more information visit the official geocaching website.
: The Raven Rock Hiking Trail is located behind the park office and is a little over four miles in length.
: For those who may prefer a shorter hike, the Natural Bridge Nature Trail is a 1½-mile loop located behind the park office.
: There are no designated bike trails on the park, but visitors can ride bicycles on the paved roads.
