- Significant Features: Goodale State Park features a civil war era140-acre mill pond surrounded by cypress trees and a mixed pine forest.

Wildlife:
Ducks, kingfishers, herons, osprey and occasionally bald eagles can be found flying around the lake. You may also find otters or alligators along the shoreline.

Wildflowers:
Carnivorous plants can be found at the park. Pitcher plants and sundew are two examples that can be viewed.
