Paddle Amongst the Cypress Trees


  • Fishing Information : Enjoy fishing in the park's 140-acre lake for bass, bream and catfish. A valid South Carolina fishing license is required.


  • Boating and Boat Access : Private boats with electric trolling motors, canoes and other non-motorized boats are allowed on the park's 140-acre lake. Boats must register.

  • Fishing Boat Rentals : Non-motorized fishing boats rent for $7/half day; $12/day from Th-M on a seasonal basis.

  • Canoe/Kayak Rentals : $7/half day; $12/day


  • Playground Equipment : Yes
  • Picnic Shelters : Yes
  • Playground : Playground equipment consisting of swings only are available for park guests to use.

  • Bird Watching : A variety of waterfowl can be seen around the lake area, especially during the winter months.

  • Geocaching : Geocaching is permitted. Several geocaches are located on the park. For more information visit the official geocaching website.


  • Interpretive Trails : The park has a one-mile self-interpretive nature trail. In addition the park offers a three-mile canoe trail on the park lake and Pine Tree Creek.
