Lodging Reservations & Information

Making a reservation at a South Carolina State Park has never been easier!

Reservations at state parks may be made up to 11 months in advance. There are three convenient ways to make reservations at South Carolina State Parks:

• Call toll free 1-866-345-PARK (7275) 
• Online at this website, by clicking here
• At the park of your choice, by calling the park directly

Reservations for group camps or primitive camping must still be made through the state parks.

Reservations requested LESS THAN three (3) days in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.  For example:  If today is Wednesday and you are making a reservation for the upcoming Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.

Check-in/Check-out Policy

• Check-in time is 4 p.m. (3 p.m. at Hickory Knob)
• Check-out time is 10 a.m. (11 a.m. at Hickory Knob)

Reservation Deposit

50% deposit of the total rental fee is required for most lodging when reservation is made

Length of Stay

• Rentals are typically accepted for a minimum of two (2) nights; however during busier periods, some parks rent by the week only.
• The weekly rental requirement most often applies from the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day but is in effect during longer periods at some state parks.
• When the weekly rental requirement is in effect, the length of stay is limited to seven (7) consecutive nights.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in or around lodging facilities; however, your South Carolina State Parks feature great pet-friendly campgrounds and even equestrian camping facilities.  So bring along your best pal and enjoy our great South Carolina State Park camping facilities.
