Beautiful Places Book Signing Events

As many of you may already know, the new Beautiful Places: The Timeless Beauty of South Carolina State Parks book, commemorating the 75th Anniversary of our state parks system, is now being sold online and in bookstores statewide.

South Carolina State Parks will be having two book signing events, open to the public, during the month of October.

Join us on October 1st at the new Founders Hall at Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site from 5pm-8pm to purchase your copy of Beautiful Places and have it signed by the author, Chad Prosser and photographer, jon o. holloway. You will also be one of the first to explore the new Founders Hall community building at the park.

If you can't make the Charles Towne Landing event, join us at Hunting Island State Park for the 150th Lighthouse Anniversary celebration where you can purchase your copy of the book and have it signed by the history author, Cal Harrison.  The Lighthouse Festival is October 17-18 at Hunting Island State Park.

Admission to both events is free of charge.
